In response to war crimes allegation by the UN prosecutor Richard Goldstone, Israeli PM Netanyahu stated the followings:

“This distorted report, written by this distorted committee, undermines Israel’s right to defend itself. This report encourages terrorism and threatens peace,”

“Israel will not take risks for peace if it can’t defend itself.”

Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to never allow Israeli leaders and soldiers to stand trial for war crimes over their actions during last winter’s military offensive in the Gaza Strip.

This has happened many times in the past… Surely history repeats itself.

Empires, countries and armies over and over again in the course of history have destroyed the lives of many and have justified their actions in the name of peace, liberation self-defense and such.

Regardless of the reasons for engaging in any conflict, and whatever the slogan may be, whether they want to call it “self defense”, “war on terror” or give a a fancy name as “Operation Cast”, “Freedom”, “Liberation”…  a moral and just leadership would not seek to exempt or protect its army against international law, war crimes and appeal for immunity.

It is somewhat amazing how quickly the Israelis forget the crimes committed against their fathers, and their decades of justifying, reasoning and seeking for justice, compensation, recognition and public sympathy.

However, the truth is coming out…

Nations and conscious people around the world are realizing it and they are standing up against the crimes of the Israeli government.

How easily, in the name of self-defense, they have taken the lives of thousands and destroyed the homes and families of hundreds of thousands more. The have managed to do all this with illegal weapons, cruel intentions; targeting schools, hospitals, UN designated shelters withing the refugee camp of Gaza…

and worst of the Israeli government has managed to do all this with utmost arrogance.

How quickly they forget, yet are always willing to remind the rest of us, when it’s suits their political and military purpose.

It is quite vivid that the Israeli government does not and never did have a have moral or just leadership.

U.S. President Barack Obama will not pressure Israel to disclose its nuclear arsenal to international inspection, as reported on Friday by The Washington Times.

There has been a 40-year-old covert agreement between the U.S. and Israel has permitted Israel to maintain its active nuclear facility without any  inspection which contains several hundred nuclear bombs.

Israeli news source Haaretz reported that the joint understanding was apparently reached during Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the White House and his meeting with American president Barack Obama in May this year.

It was reported that the United Nations nuclear assembly resolution urged Israel earlier this month to put all its atomic sites under the world body’s inspection and sign the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

The Israeli answer came from its chief delegate David Danieli who adressed the champer as such:

“Israel will not cooperate in any matter with this resolution which is only aiming at reinforcing political hostilities and lines of division in the Middle East region,”

Who is Dr. John Dugard?

John Dugard is a Professor of International Law at the Center for human rights at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. He has served as a judge on the International Court of Justice and as a Special Rapporteur for both the former United Nations Commission on Human Rights and the International Law Commission. He’s also granted as a distinguish professor of law at Duke University.

In the following lecture Dr. Dugard talks about the occupation and apartheid under international law as it’s happening in Palestine. He discusses and proves the three similarities of the dominant feature of the apartheid regime in South Africa with that of the Israeli and Palestinian.

“Israel approves new West Bank settlement.” – our media modestly reports

The settlements are a violation under the international law. Over and over we should remind ourselves and our associates that it is illegal to settle and expand in any occupied territory. It is truly despicable for Israel to allow and even encourage this process.

The minute Palestinian water portion is already being stolen to be pumped into the swimming pools built for settlers’ condominiums; buildings that are being erected for more European and North American arrivals.

Under the UN resolution 242 dated as far back as November 22, 1967, this land that has been demanded to be given back to the Palestinians; justice that is long overdue. It has been more than 40 years that people of Palestine are living under horrendous conditions, sleeping in rat-infested refuge camps, a people that are continually denied their basic needs and rights while being block over their air, water and land by a powerful military.

There are roads through the occupied territories – smooth and convenient roads – that the Israelis alone are allowed to use. The Palestinians have to spend hours in traveling to get to their destinations, commutes that could take fraction of the time. Their fishermen are repeatedly fired out from the sea, their children are imprisoned along what they call “Security Walls”; same walls that also separate farmers from their lands, families and loved ones from each other. And the continuous settlements; well the settlements are only making it all much worse.

The timing of this announcement is no accident. This is just the latest in a long line of Zionist moves to prod the Palestinians into upsetting the “Peace Process”. And of course the Palestinians just have to swallow it. If they react they are terrorists and if they don’t the Israelis will take more.

I believe that this article is an act of free speech. The Swedish people, their media and/or their government have done nothing wrong. If the story is fake then the Israeli government should have not reacted as they did. There must be at least an ounce of truth somewhere in this article to spark the issue to such high level.

Nonetheless, if these allegations are true it should make every decent human being sick to the inner most of their stomach. It is almost inevitable that we will be waiting for a long time before the Israelis allow any kind international investigation into the matter, just as they would not and still do not allow any unbiased media to report what really did happen in Gaza or the West Bank.
