Recent news from The New York Times has suggested that Ahmed Wali Karzai, the brother of the president of Afghanistan, gets regular payments from the CIA and has for much of the past eight years.
CBC reported that:
“The CIA’s ties to Karzai, who is a suspected player in the country’s illegal opium trade, have created deep divisions within the Obama administration, the Times said.”
This supported our previous article on opium production increase in Afghanistan and how it has been supported by the American government and thus beneficial to the American pharmaceutical companies.
Again, it is easy to see that the CIA has been issuing regular payments to members of the Karzai family and looking the other way waiting for some return on their “investment”.
This has been and will look quite bad to the Afghan people, especially with the corruption evidence continually surfacing.
There goes US presence justification for “Peace”, “Regional Security”, “War on Terror”, “Al Qaeda”, “Osama bin Laden” and their credibility…AGAIN!

Not only have the opium production increaseed in Afghanistan but the arms and military production has and still is rapidly grown. Too sad, but true.
